Doctors actually write a lot of exams and tests before becoming a doctor.So they are used to writing faster within a particular time limit.

Doctors generally have a lot of things to write on the wards such as discharge summaries, drug charts, pathology slips, x-ray slips etc. Therefore they must write a lot and on the same hand they should save time.
3. Writing pressure at work
Doctors have to deal a lot of patients and therefore they are forced to write their prescriptions very fast
