In 2006, the 7.4 km area around Taj Mahal was declared as a no fly zone to enhance the safety of the building

This is also to protect the white marble stone which it is made from, from yellowing due to pollution


NORTH KOREA

Many countries and also the UN avoid the Pyongyang airspace because of the unexpected way in which they test their missiles

Missiles are launched from North Korean bay towards the sea of Japan often without any prior warning

USA

Restricted for all kinds of aircrafts, Area 51 is used for testing new military tech nology. For example in the 1950s & '60s, the U-2 Spy Plane Program was worked on at the base.

This empty desert boasts air space that is more restricted than that of the U.S capital.

To ensure the security of the Buckingham palace no fly zone was instituted in the region. Another region in which planes are not allowed to fly over is Windsor Castle to safeguard the reigning monarch and the royal family.


WALT DISNEY WORLD
USA

The theme park requires no aircraft to come within 3,000 feet in altitude for a radius of 3 miles. Disney didn't want noisy airplanes to fly above it, for not spooking its new residents.

The competitors, however, claim that the no-fly zones were instituted to prevent them from flying advertisements in the region.
